Sodus: Passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the age of 75. Harold is survived by his wife of 53 years Dolores (Loveless) Hillegeer; sons Dale (Lucy) Hillegeer of Ontario, Ricky (Laurrie) Hillegeer of Murfreebough, TN, Kevin (Julia Merritt) Hillegeer of Sodus; daughters Amy Demarinis of Sodus and Sharon (Steve) Wren of Sodus Center; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Ruth Hillegeer, and by his brother Norman Hillegeer. Harold was a longtime construction worker, lifetime member of the Wolcott Elks, and an official at Spencer Speedway.

Visitation will be Thursday (August 2nd) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Harold's funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Gail Heimberger officiating. In lieu of flowers, Harold’s family has requested that you consider a donation in his memory to the Dawn & Jacques Lipson MD Cancer and Blood Center at Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY.
