Savannah: Viola Bliss, age 89, died on August 13th at the Wayne County Nursing Home. Viola was born in Lyons on January 11, 1923 to Fred and Mae (Humbert) Gansz. She graduated from Savannah High School with the class of 1942. During her working years she was employed at Eastman Kodak, General Electric and Corenco Fertilizer. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1997, her brother Ray Gansz, sister-in-law Jean Gansz and nephews Gary and Bruce Gansz. Viola is survived by her brother Charles Gansz, sister Elaine (Werter) Cooney, nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great -nephews.

Friends may call Friday August 17th from 11:00 - 2:00 at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street in Savannah where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Trudy Goldman officiating. Interment, Crusoe Cemetery.
