Wolcott: Died on August 20th, 2012, 2 months short of her 80th birthday while in hospice care at the Wayne County Nursing Home , Lyons. She was predeceased by her husband Ellard “Ned” in 2002. MaryElla is survived by her children Karin (Harry) Pickard, Kris (Brenda) Middleton, and Randy (Arlene) Middleton. Beloved grandchildren Stephen (Rachel) Pickard, Allen Pickard (Michelle), Ashley, Cody Middleton, Joshua, Chris (Amanda), Brandon Luckey; step-grandchildren; brother Bill (Jean) Rickard, brother and sister-in-laws Richard (Jessie), Leonard (Phylis), Eleanor Middleton; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the funeral home. Interment will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
