Sodus: Passed away, peacefully at home on Friday February 15th, 2013. Vincent is survived by his wife of 58 years, Holly; his children William and Susan O’Brien, Mark and Barbara O’Brien, Thomas O’Brien and Maureen and Keith Behrens; grandchildren Erin O’Brien, Sarah and Martin Williams, Katherine and Shane Lyness, Peter O’Brien, Stephanie and Morgan Behrens; great grandchildren Hanna, Mallory and Claire. Vincent was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. He was a retired educator from the Sodus Central School District, and was a Marine Corps veteran.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 25th, from 3-5 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. His Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. from the funeral home with Deacon James Nail officiating. Military Honors will conclude the service.

The O’Brien family has requested that in lieu of flowers, you instead consider a donation in memory of Vincent to the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI), 422 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620-1198.

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
