Wolcott: Entered into eternal rest on Friday March 1, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Victory, NY she had lived and worked in Wolcott for 50 years. For the past 9 years Ruth had resided at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons. Ruth was blessed by many very special friends along the way. She is survived by her brother George (Jan) Slack of Canandaigua, and nephew Jim (Kathy) Slack of Cayuga.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott, where her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Interment will be at the Glenside Cemetery in Wolcott.
