Sodus/Lyons: Suddenly on April 27, 2012 at age 70. Eugene is survived by wife Janet, his children Dawn Griffith (Russ), Rose Tierce, Cheryl David (Darryl), David and Eugene; sister Susan Heise; brothers Bob and Steve; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Norma Heise, and brothers Tom and Richard Heise. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons for the wonderful care that was given to Eugene. He was loved by many people and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be Monday, May 7th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A graveside service will follow immediately at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
