Melinda Maldonado was born August 2, 1962 in Sodus, to parents Ivan L. & Margery Mae (Harrington) Bulriss. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 29, 2025 at her home.

Family and friends are invited to her graveside service Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the Sodus Rural Cemetery, Route 88, Sodus, NY.

Melinda is survived by her sister Mary (Shawn) Moon; nieces Brianna Moon and great niece Isabelle Osorio-Ortiz; a brother-in-law Timothy Evans; Aunts Yvonne and Betty Bulriss; an Uncle Fred (Judy) Harrington; several cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her parents; her sister Cheryl Arlene (Bulriss) Evans;her great-niece Sophia Mae Osorio-Ortiz.
