Nicole M. DeNeef

July 31, 1973 – October 16, 2026

Nicole Marie DeNeef, age 53, of Marion, NY passed away October 16, 2026, at Rochester General Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous and hard-fought 5+ year battle with cancer. Nicole, daughter of Mary Hitchcock, was born July 31, 1973, in Hamilton, New York.

Nicole is survived by her loving husband Duane DeNeef of 32 years; her sons Sean (Kate) DeNeef, Isaac DeNeef and Duane DeNeef III (Haley Taber); her daughter Lillian (Kyle) Nicole Quigley; her brother Frankie Hitchcock; her sister Marcie Soule; her grandchildren Huntley DeNeef, Colter DeNeef, Adriaan DeNeef, Morgan Quigley, & AJ Quigley, as well as her beloved brother-in-law, Uncle Paul. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother's; Lillian Stone and Edith Young.

Nicole lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family, specifically travelling and trying new restaurants. She lit up the room with her larger-than-life personality. She was a kind, caring, and most generous Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to many.

Her memory will live on in all our hearts forever.

Per the family’s request, Nicole’s services will be held privately.
