Versie Mae Hill, 61, of Pittsford, New York, passed away October 26, 2026, at Highland Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born November 8, 1964, in Newark, New York, to the late Eligha and Versie Hill.

Although life presented Versie with many challenges, her radiant personality could not be dimmed. Communication is much more than just the act of speaking. Versie did not need to talk in order to express herself. You knew she was kind and you knew she loved you, simply because she exuded it. Versie was also known to be a bit of a diva. Finding great joy in getting her hair and nails done whenever she could. Style was not something she lacked in the slightest.

Her presence will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Versie is survived by her sister Joyce (Johnny) Rufus of Texas; her brothers Jesse (Mary) Williams Sr. of Lyons, Richard (Joyce) Hill of Newark and Eligha (Debbie Ludwig) Hill Jr. Clifton Springs; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Alyce James, Annie Mae Wright and Fannie Mae Davis as well as her brothers Ervin Hill, Jerry Davis, Charles Davis and James Williams.

Family and Friends are invited to call November 7, 2026, from 9AM-11AM at the Redeem Bethel Community Fellowship Center, 4496 NY-104, Williamson, NY 14589. A Funeral service will be held at 11AM, followed by a burial in the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
